AG - The morning after

This serie of poems are dedicated to AG, my one and only ... or so I thought ...

So I met this beautifully strange, humorous, smart and wonderful woman at work. She was here for a short stay as her home office and home was thousands of kilometers away. Yet I couldn't but fall in love with her.

This one I wrote one evening when she was really suffering from a serious headache.

 I can't lie still

I toss and turn

I stagger from the bed

What the hell is wrong with me

The throbbing in my head

I crush the pillow to my head

I suffocate the hurt

My head aches more

My eyes are fogged

I lie and keep inert

And while the yeti grows in me

A gentle man appears

With aspirin

And great green tea

The pain replaced by dreams
